LIVE UPDATES: Cuomo aides reveal state laws for nursing home care

Helpers to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo revealed that his state’s laws have been too relaxed in nursing homes and that no facilities have lost their licenses despite widespread COVID-19 death: Dead.

“I think many of these nursing homes, frankly, with retroactive effect, even before COVID has gotten away with a lot for many years,” said Secretary of Government Gov. audio from last week’s conference call with Democratic lawmakers reviewed by The New York Post.

“I think if there’s evidence that someone was intentional, or someone was negligent in a way that goes beyond the normal course that costs people’s lives, I think we all share the same goal, which is to hold them accountable, “DeRosa added.

QUICK FACTS

    • Cuomo’s councilor, Beth Garvey, admitted that the revocation of nursing home licenses “has not happened” yet.
