Stock market update: 133 stocks reached 52 weeks on the NSE

Benchmark NSE The Nifty index traded up 36.40 points at 15,351.10 on Tuesday due to purchases in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on the NSE were: ACC, Adani Enterprises, Adani Total Gas, Axis Bank, DLF, Equitas Small Finance Bank, Havells India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indian Bank, JSW Steel, Bank of Maharashtra,

and Vedanta.

In total, 28 stocks traded in green in the Nifty50 index, while 22 traded in red in afternoon trading.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, Power Grid and Kotak Bank were among the biggest winners, while ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Nestle India, Asian Paints and Bajaj Finserv traded red.

BSE Sensex traded 77.86 points up to 52231.99. Traders were seen stacked up in metals – ferrous, diversified, power, mining and metals – non-ferrous sectors, while sales were visible in sectors infrastructure, miscellaneous, rubber, airlines and services.
