Stock market update: 3 stocks hit 52-week downturns on NSE

NEW DELHI: About 3 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows NSE in Tuesday’s session.

Among the stocks that affected their 52-week low on the NSE were: Generic Engineering Construction and Projects, Global Education and Sanwaria Consumer.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty traded 35.30 points up to 15350.0 while BSE Sensex traded 80.19 points up at 52234.32.

On the other hand, AdityaBirlaFashion (PP), Bank of Maharashtra, Adani Gas, Bank of India and MahindraCIE hit their new 52-week high today.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Tata Steel, Power Grid and JSW Steel were among the biggest winners on the NSE. However, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Nestle India, Eicher Motors and Bajaj Finserv were among the biggest losers.
