Although US markets are closed today for President’s Day, markets are still trading electronically until 1 p.m. 1:00 EST. Trends have not changed, with stocks reaching new heights again; crude oil explodes higher and bonds are crushed.
Gold remains under pressure and is further separated from silver. Platinum remains in its own trading world, now trading above $ 1,300, a high of 7 years. Trends are clear: gold in a downward trend and in danger of collapsing, while silver and platinum remain in an upward trend.
So far, the critical level is to see $ 1,800 April gold; a close down would bring $ 1,750 and $ 1,700 into play. If silver can get over $ 30, it could go out to the race, and the $ 1,400 April platinum is huge. We will stay with the trend and watch as the ratio of gold to silver continues to decline; pr. today it is 65.

We have also included a registration link for session 6 on Friday 19 February at 5:00 EST
